Leading in Industrial Decarbonization through Clean Energy and Distributed Energy Plants
Harnessing Indonesia’s abundant natural resources to power a cleaner, more resilient future.
Our Solutions
1
E-DME Plant
Located in Modern Cikande Industrial Estate, Indonesia, a new DME plant is under Feasibility Study prior to its construction. The plant will use carbon free process, producing DME at 5,000 tons/year from methanol.

2
E-Methanol Plant
Eco-friendly Methanol plant. With abundant high quality coal reserves (calorific values of 6,500-7,000 kcal/kg), the area will be the home of e-methanol production, which will reduce Co2 emission > 10,500 tons/year.

3
E-Hydrogen Plant
Eco-friendly hydrogen plant will be constructed with carbon free process under ambient condition. The plant will be the home of e-hydrogen production, which will reduce CO2 emission > 10,500 tons/year.

4
E-Ammonia Plant
Eco-friendly ammonia plant uses an innovative process that uses free air and renewable steam. This plant will reduce CO2 emission > 10,500 tons/year as compared to the conventional Haber Bosch (HB) process.

Our Purpose
At Bumar Energi, we are committed to accelerating industrial decarbonization by building clean, hydrogen-based distributed energy plants across Indonesia.
Established in 2023, our mission is aligned with the Paris Agreement goals to limit global temperature rise.
Indonesia’s Potential — and Its Challenge
Abundant Natural Resources
Coal, gas, biomass, geothermal, solar — vastly untapped

> 70% of raw materials exported
- The world's largest coal exporter in 2023, Indonesia coal export reached 518 Million tons.
- 8.7 Billion kg of natural gas (in LNG and NG) in the same year.

Domestic market relies on import >75%
- Methanol import at 980k tons/year.LPG
- import at 6-7 Million tons/year.
- Ammonia import at 34 Million kg(2022).
- Acetic acid import at 65 Million kg(2023).
